This week we are sticking with the Halloween
themes and going with mad scientist laboratory.
With the film I, Frankenstein coming out soon I thought a mad scientist
theme would be perfect. Thought I doubt
the film will have any resemblance to the brilliant novel, none the less many
people still fear science and what better way to do so than with a mad
laboratory.
Décor
Upon
entering the laboratory, hang up sheets of plastic on the door frame. This will make your guests feel like they are
entering a hazards area.
Upon entering the
key idea is to have to room dram, only using black lights and blue or green
lighting behind your decorations.
For a creepy lighting factor you can make your own light box
to display x-rays on.

Also adding some
electrical bulbs look cool as well.
The next big thing is the decorations. I would encourage using glass jars of various
sizes and shapes to place objects and specimens in.
Also using glass beakers, test tubes, and petri dishes for
décor and plating food and drinks in.
Finish off with some dry ice in beakers or a fog
machine.
Be sure to have you and your guest dress up as either
scientists or Frankenstein like creatures.

Experiment 1
Mad scientist
To Space!
Just a
little bouncing off point before you and your guests descend into madness. I tried to cover a broad range but you can
easily narrow down your type of mad scientist.
I will have a post on soothing on Friday, so come back for more of my
babbling of a crazy woman.
See you on the other side
