The Dilemma

I've been busy these past couple months, stressing over job hunting, depressed, lacking in friendship and realizing that I mostly have acquaintances.  But I've reflected and change my views on certain people and starting to get back on track to happiness.  During this time I was job hunting and finding a huge lack of jobs in my field, they either was people to do the work for free or prices so low that is is laughable.  I've tried looking at the gaming side but they only want people who have experience, that old catch 22 bull shit.  So as a result I have to look outside of my desire career path and into other work.

In my last post I mentioned I had a job interview that I felt bomb.  I didn't hear back from them after a week so I knew I didn't get the job.  So I looked else where and in mid May I accepted an offer for retail sales at a high end store.  It's only seasonal for there anniversary sale which last a month but with a possibility of staying on longer depending if they have room/ how well i do in sales.  So ok, not the best situation but at least it's something and maybe with room to move up depending on how well I do.

Here's the twist.  Two days ago I got a call from that company that I interviewed with over a month ago and didn't hear back, asking if I was still looking for work.  Long story short I went in for an interview yesterday for this company for the same position (turns out the person that got it originally was a referral and wasn't that computer savvy) and there is a good chance I may get this position.

Now I'm stuck with the dilemma of working retail for at least a month and maybe have the option to stay on or go to a different store.  Or do I quite before I start the retail job and go with this office job (if I get it...which I wont know until Monday).  Both have there pros and cons and I've been weighting them each and haven't reached a dissension yet.  I have given myself until Friday to decided what to do if I am given the job.

Either way I have a job so I can pay my bills and buy a new computer soon.  I'll try to keep you little bots more up to date.  I'm usually active on twitter and instagram.  You can find those link on the left hand side.  See you soon little bots when I tell you what happens next.

Wearing Many Hats

Hello little bots, sorry for the unexpected hiatus.  Last week I was out of town visiting my parents and just didn't feel like writing a blog.  But I'm back, finishing up on this mix for STIFF before Friday and looking for a part tie job. so lets jump into what's new with me.

Two weeks ago I helped out with Women in Film TST event, April's event was speed networking.  In one way I like it because you meet so many at once, but on the other hand you are stuck with someone you aren't interested in talking to or someone you want to talk to more times up and you have to move on.  At the event I meet a few people who may have possible future gig opportunities for me.  I just have to set up time and meetings with these people.  But I don't know my solid scheduled until I know for sure if I got this one job until the end of this week.

So I've been sending out vast amount of resumes to many companies for a varied positions.  This one company who uses those damn recruiter people to "help" you with sending them your resume.  Let me stress I hate recruiters, they don't know jack shit about half of the job description and and what you have on your resume.  This recruiter I had didn't know the job description well and had such a thick Indian accent that I couldn't understand him.   I've sent him a copy of my resume 3times, each time him asking me to redo it so I can add more detail information on my past work.  Mind you with each revision I've dumb down the description of what I did in each job so much that a 2 year old would understand.  Eventually I just gave up on him and found  a direct email to the company's hiring director.

Last week I went to the dentist for a cleaning, normal across the board.  But on Thursday my man had to go in for his wisdom teeth removal and 1 other tooth to be removed as well.  If you follow me on twitter you would have seen my conversation with him as he was getting them removed.  It freaked me out at first until I remembered he had his MS wrist band which he can text on.

For the past 4 days I was taking care of him, except when I had to run out on Friday for a job interview which I think I fucked up on and didn't get the job.  Unfortunately I wont know for sure until the end of this week when they have made there decision.

I also was out all day Saturday at a baby shower near my mom's house.  I didn't want to go to the shower, I find them boring, I have nothing in common with these people I went to high school with, and it serves as a reminder as one of the many reasons why I do not want children.  The only reason I went was because of my mother.  Which turned out she didn't want to go either.  We could have saved time and shipped our gifts to the new baby brat and be done with it!

After the shower I had to run all the way back to my house, check to make sure my man was still alive, and get ready for another event that night for a friends birthday party up on Capitol Hill.  This party/event I wanted to go to.  I had a blast, it was Thor themed and I wore my fuzzy viking hat and furry vest.  I got tipsy, danced all crazy, got caught up with friends that I haven't seen in forever, and just had a good time.

Now I just have to finish up this mix with some bad audio recordings that are supper reverby.   Luckily my director knows this and is understanding as to why some sounds cant be fixed in post.  Have a good week little bots and I will see you next Monday.

Home Alone Kinda Week

Happy Tuesday little bots, Last week I was home alone while my man zipped off to London for a week on business.  Needless to say I was going stir crazy and having freaky ass dreams about ghosts.  So when he returned on Sunday night and decided to take the day off yesterday to recoup, I became his shadow for the day.  That's why there wasn't a post yesterday, so thus I'm making it up today.

Last week was pretty boring and uneventful, but I did go to Nordstrom, lush and Sephora with my mom one day and have an impromptu spa night by myself.  At Nordstrom's I got this cute "grown-up" friendship bracelet with these cute charms on it.  I took one picture of it while waiting for my mom to finish up in the bathroom; and now after many likes on instagram, Nordstrom has reached out to me asking to use my picture on Nordstrom.com.  So now you can see my bathroom pic of my bracelet on Nordstrom's page.

When my man returned on Sunday he brought with him gifts and booze.  So below is a quick slide show of what he brought back:
Buckingham Palace's chocolates

Tonk's wand from Harry Potter (replica from the film)

The little stand it came with

Bead Union Jack bracelet from the British Museum

Corgi key chain from Buckingham Palace

Cat head statue from the British Museum

Nimbus from the British Museum
Scotch from the duty free
Yes I was jealous that he went, but he wants to go back so we are going to save money so we can go in a couple of years.  Also we can pick out the right hotel and where we want to go.

This week is another Women in Film event that I'm helping out with and possibly some running away on my part to my parents house early next week for some teeth cleaning.

I'm Back,Bots!

Wheee, so I've been gone for quite some time. Almost a month if I remember correctly. Off the bat, so sorry to all my little bots that still follow me. But if you have followed me on Tumblr, Twitter, or Instagram you would have seen all my progress photos of that damn Ivy costume plus some more awesom things.

What other awesome thing you might ask? Well for starters I hacked off all my hair.

Yup, I was sick of the dead/split ends and weight of the hair when I washed it. Truth be told I told no one and I wasn’t originally going to be this short. Ah fuck it. Hair grows.

This past month I was finishing up the trailer for the documentary i'm going to be working on this May. That is all finished up, had a few tweaks but over all it turned out great. You can watch the trailer here:

For a majority of the past 2 weeks before Emerald City Comic Con I was working on that damn Ivy costume. It took for ever to sew every leaf by hand onto the body suit and hand stitch the embroidery as well. The night before I went I was stitching on the embroidery to the suite. To be honest, I'm not 100% happy with the costume. There were some more embroidery that need to be done and added, as well as add more pizazz to the bustle as well. But for a first showing it was ok. For the pictures I saw I see that I really need to lose weight. Hot damn, those thunder thighs. But it was good to see my self in that light and to motivate myself to losing weight again.

So I premiered Poison Ivy on Saturday, here are some of the pictures and you can view the full album of un-edited pictures on my flicker site here: Poison Ivy

The amazing Mikozilla in her fem Varric

My man bought a back up costume for me just incase I couldn’t get together. It was a Harley Quinn from Arkham City. I had a lot of fun with this costume, might make a better one for Pax Prime if I have time. Here are some pics of her and a link to the flicker album: Harley Quinn

The low points of the con were:
  • saying goodbye to my friend Katie who is moving down to California for school
  • almost being hit by a car while crossing in the cross walk with it was green.
  • Having the most shittiest waitress in all the land at the Hard Rock Cafe, it was so bad we didn’t even leave her a tip. We never do that but when you ignore us for the entire time we are there and give my boyfriend an attitude when as for the check, you don’t deserve one bitch.
Last week was con recovery, and getting my man ready to go over to London on a business trip for a whole week. I'm sad he is gone this week but I'm more upset at myself for not going over there. * sigh* I guess this means I just have to save up money for the next couple of years so I can go over and have a kick ass time in England... maybe try to attend London Comic Con while I'm there as well...

This week I'm hanging with the cats, trying to find a part time job, and try not to go crazy while my man is away in London.

Too Busy Sewing To Post

So sorry for being quiet this past week little bots, I've been franticly trying to get my Poison Ivy costume done in time for Emerald City Comic Con. I've been posting progress pictures on my Instagram, when I'm 100% done I will post all the photos up on this blog so you can see it from start to finish. The biggest part of the project hands done thus far is the embroidery. As of right now, I have 1 ½ pieces done out of 7... Yeah I'm feeling behind.

So I will be posting on this blog once this costume is done. I will post on Twitter, Tumbler, and Instagram of a few progress pictures, but I really need to sit down and plow threw this embroidery and sewing on hundred of leaves. Sorry, love you all little bots, I will be back.

See you on the other side.

Sound Mix, Check, Cosplay Coming Along

I'm really doubting we are going to get a normal rainy Seattle winter and spring this year.  I love the rain and dark gloomy weather, it's the only time i get to wrap myself up in baggy comfy clothing and no one cares.  But alas, it appears we will be having a warm spring and summer which usually follows into fall.  I don't look good in summer cloths.  I want to be a sloth.

Enough about the "beautiful" weather, I'm happy to say that the trailer that I received last week I've finished.  Cleaned up the audio, mixed it, and sent it out on Friday.  Now I'm just waiting to hear if they need anything tweaked since they are presenting this on Thursday and I personally would like at least 2 days to fix anything before the meeting.

With my sound projects done, I'm shifting focus to my Poison Ivy cosplay For ECCC.  I had to hand set the sheer top which took forever to do.  but that is now done and I plan on tacking it on to the body suite today and sketch out the embroidery pattern for the top.  My goal this week is to Have a good portion of the embroidery done and work on the bustle this weekend when my man can help me.  If all goes well I will have progress photos next Monday.

I have a busy week ahead of me little bots, See you Friday!

Feet Shuffling And Progress

Sorry for the M.I.A this past Friday, I was busy working on Foley work for the absent Director and warping up that project with him. Once he signed the contract and sent over the first half of the money, it was smooth sailing. I was able to complete the work in two days that we agreed upon and even did a little bit of tweaking of the feet on friday after he paid me the rest of the money. Over all the experience went well and he was happy with the end result and so was I.

I was able to get into contact with the director for the documentary. I was getting worried since I was suppose to get the trailer for the documentary last week and I never did. Luckily She got back t me and now I have a week to complete it before it goes to the client, but if I need more time she said she will stale for me. After viewing the raw mix, it's not so bad and can punch it out this week and still have time for revisions.

With all this work my Poison Ivy costume had to take a back seat for a bit, but now I'm feeling the crunch and need to step up on completing her before ECCC. I just need to hand sew (yes this is why it is taking so damn long, I really need to buy a sewing machine) the top portion and hem it. I am planing on beaning that out the next couple of days then starting on the embroidery for the top. I've ordered more leaves and need to start sewing those on. Oh and lets not forget about making that bustle, shall we... I think I will make it....I hope. If I plan on making the entire bustle this weekend I should be ok.

This weekend I did take a break from everything and went to my friend Arwen Cosplay's birthday at the EMP. It was great to get out of my work space/home and to try to remember how to interact with people. You should check out her facebook page, give it a like and say hi to her at ECCC. She will be appearing all 3 days in 3 different costumes. Click the picture below to get to her page.

So this week working on the trailer mix and trying to work on Ivy. I will post something this Friday I promise, have a good week little bots!

Hanging Out With The Parents And V-Day

Wow, it is supper sunny here in Seattle. I wish we got some snow this year, supper jealous of you east coasters. Last week I visited my parents, my dad came home for retirement and I wanted to say hi. But I was mainly over there since I had a dermatologist appointment. My mother made the appointment for me due to my stupidity many years ago in my teen years of sitting out in the sun and getting really bad burns. The good news is my sink looks great and don’t need a follow up appointment any time soon. The bad is I have a few moles that I didn’t know about on my back but they look ok. While I was there I was treated to very delicious meals from Port Gamble and over here in Seattle.

This past weekend was Valentines day weekend and everyone decided to invade downtown. So I thought I would avoid everyone and go up to Capitol Hill and checkout the Starbucks Roastery cafe. But all the tourist decided to invade, so we just went into the Serious pie restaurant which is attached to the roastery for some lunch. After lunch we went to the comic book shop to pick up our comics and went home to relax. I asked for nothing on V-day because my couch I'm count as my x-mas/anniversary/valentines gift since it was an expensive couch. But I did get my man a Life Aquatic themed gifts, which included a steve shirt and a Kingsly red hat.

Quick work update: still waiting for the documentary trailer, final got the absent director to sign the contract but now waiting for him to send me the money so I can start. Going to have to send him an email tomorrow if he doesn’t send it soon. And finally I was contacted by a recurter for Holo Lens, I talked to them and said I would be interested but I have my doubts of getting the job since the recurter said they were looking for some one with game audio experience. And this morning I revived an email from the recurter saying they’re going to hire people with game audio experience. Called it.

Have a good week little bots, I will be working very hard on finishing the sheer top part of my ivy costume, and start working on the embroidery for the top as well. See you all friday for a bitch out session on probably the absent director.

See you on the other side.

Working On Cosplay

Early morning blog just for you little bots. I've had a productive week of working on my Poison Ivy costume for ECCC. I've duck taped my body to use... that turned out horrible so my man bough me a dress form and I was on my way to mocking up patterns, cutting up fabric, and painting my shoes. I'm happy to say the shoes are 95% done, they just need some leaves glued onto the back of the heel and those puppies are done!

I just need to sew up the top part by hand since I still do not have a sewing machine. What fun. Once that is all sewed up and looks all right, I just have to embroider like a mad woman and add those pieces to the top and sew on leaves the body... fingers crossed that I have time to do it all before the end of March.

Besides working on my costume, I've been working on writing up a contract for the missing director. I heard back from him on Monday evening, he answered 2 of my 3 questions so I had to write him back and wait until Saturday night to hear his response to my last question. Apparently a family member was in the hospital... where have I heard that one before. Regardless I sent out the contract Sunday morning and now just waiting on him to fill out his info and sign it. Lets see how long he takes to do this...

If you follow me on instagram, you can see that this week I've turned into a hipster. Kill me now. My man bought a Guardians of the Galaxy vinyl record and wanted to buy a record player to listen to it. So after driving around and out 600 bucks we have a nice setup to listen to records. What has downtown done to me!

This week I'm visiting my parents for a few days then I'm going to do romantic weekend with my man. What do we do for romance you may ask, well we are going to sit around and play video games and avoid the love struck crowd that will be invading our streets on Saturday. Yup, we are going that old couple that glares at the young and yell at them to keep off our grass, or streets. So have a good week little bots, catch you Friday!

Bitch'n Fridays: Random Complaining

Today feels like every annoying thing that I despise has trapped me in small room with them as they poke me with sticks. So todays blog is a quick fire of the things that are annoying me right now. If this isn’t your cup of tea, I should be back to normal on Monday. Onto my bitch rants!

People Not responding to emails quickly.
Still waiting on ol' missing director on answering an email I sent on Monday asking him to a few questions that I need answered so I can finish writing up a contract and have him sign it. It's 2015, if you are not looking at all your email addresses at least once a day then you should not be trying to business over the internet!

My Cats
I love my hairy babies but sometimes they drive me up the wall. For example peeing right out the litter box when it is clean or shitting on the couch. You have a clean bill of health, the box is clean...WTF! Also fucking around with small object and meowing at closed doors after my man and I squirt you with the water bottle, you are driving me up the wall!

New Moms on social media
Ok, I get it you had sex and now you are showing off your fuck trophy. Guess what... No one cares out side your mediate family. Your baby looks like every other baby in the world and posting 50 pictures a day of you kid sleeping eyes open, he/she looks the same in every photo and it's clogging up my news feed. Don’t be surprised I un-follow your ass after you have a kid.

TLC channel
Do I even have to go into detail why this channel is awful.

So that is all I feel like ranting out for now. I need to go work out, shower, eat, and work on my costume for ECCC. See you Monday when I'm in better mood.

Sadness Upon The City

If you watched the Superbowl last night you know that Seattle lost due to poor coaching decisions. It was stupid to throw the ball instead of handing it off to Lynch who was outstanding last night. I'm still a fan of my Seahawks just a very sad fan for the next few days.

Besides watching a very suspenseful Superbowl, last week I was busy finishing up the two documentary clean up work and finished my 30 day work out challenges. I'm pretty proud of myself for sticking with the challenge. Now I just need to keep up with working out and lose some more weight.

Other than that I did receive a message back from the director almost immediately after sending him the ultimatum email. I sent him back an email trying to get the ball moving again to start filling out the contact, set a date of completion, and how to give him the files. But to my amazement he doesn’t reply for another week. He want my Paypal info so he can send me money but I'm getting weird feelings. So I shall send him another email for him to hold on to the money until we have a contract in place. I'm having my doubts on this guy.

Have a good week little bots, I now have an instagram account it's SchadGirl just like my twitter. See you friday for some ranting or update on weird director guy.

5 Things I'm Obsessed With This Week: 1/30/2015

I'm on my last day of my 30 day challenges except for the arms which are 31... yeah should have paid more attention to that one. So while I'm finishing that part of my resolution up I thought I would put up what I'm obsessing over this week for you little bots to check out.

Nessie Ladle:
Its so cute and I really want it for my kitchen to put my other ladles to shame!

Sushi Socks:
Don’t know if its because I've been wanting to eat sushi lately or that these would be amazing on my feet...

Chain Chronicle:
A Sega mobile game that I recently put on my phone and sadly have become addicted to it. It's a fun little RPG that was released back in December to the US, find out more by clicking the picture down below.

Sailor Saturn:
I finally have a Sailor Saturn figurine, I broke down and bought one from Barns and Noble (I have two 2o dollar gift cards from them so it only cost me 9 bucks, sweet deal!). For it being small it is supper detailed and I like the fact that you can change out the face and hands easily.

Super Bowl 49:
You know I will be routing for my beloved Seahawks to whop on those cheating Patriots. Fingers crossed I don’t get a heart attack while watching the game, it's going to be a close one and I'm already nervous.

I'll catch you little bots Monday if my heart hasn’t given out by them.

Back From A Break

Hey little bots, I'm back from my retreat from my mom's house of gathering materials for my Poison Ivy costume for ECCC and to spend some quality time with my mom without anyone else.  It's so strange going back to my childhood home, mostly due to it being ripped up from remodeling.  It's slowly coming together but with worker coming in and out of the house it's hard to relax until the leave at 5pm.

Besides hanging out with my mom, I gathered many supplies for Poison Ivy.  I have the body suit, the fabric for the bustle, embroidery floss and material to sew the embroidery pattern, and random other sewing supplies.  All I need to do now is to make my duck tape body forum and put all this shit together.  Side note I bought some ivy leaves off of amazon but the company sent me the wrong type of leaves, but they were cool and are sending me what I originally  bought and letting me keep the other leaves as a gift.  Still wait for the leave to come in, if they have not arrived by the first week of February I'm ordering from another company.

Returning home as usual my man lives like a bachelor and the place was a mess.  So this past weekend was cleaning house, laundry and buying underwear from Victoria's Secret.   I think for now on I will buy underwear either on line or for Nordstrom because VS is a zoo full of misleading signs and idiot customers.   Never. Again.

This week I'm finishing up on the clean up work for the documentary, and looking forward to hearing what the cheap ass director has to say after my last email i sent today.  Have a good week and stay busy little bots.

Film Stuff And De-Fluff

Happy MLk day little bots.  I'm typing to you all from the ferry so this will probably be a short post. Are you all still buzzed over the Seahawks win last nigh, I sure am and still in a haze that we won.  Love my team.

This past week I had another women in film event that I had to go to since I am now the greeter/money take for all events.  The event was a presentation for "the art of the pitch" which should have brought in more people but with the heads of the bord for our region are so against social media, we got a smaller turn out than what we would like.  This coming Saturday is a member meeting to discuss how we can improve this organization.  WIF defiantly needs a new view point and heads of the board to make it successful.

The other part of my week I was busy cleaning up audio for the documentary film that I will be working on in March.  These pieces are for our client Shorline water front restoration who wanted clean audio from there beach walks this past summer.  If you know audio I can head you groaning about all the uncontrollable noise in the background.  It's pretty bad but I got most of the noise down and just need to go over it to duck or cut out some pop up baby cries.

In other film new I recived a blind email asking me to do some Foley work. I've been emailing this guy back and forth all week trying to figure out what he wants out of this 2 minute foley scene which he cut it down to 1:40 in hopes to cut cost.  But what he seems to jot comprehend is the Part he cut didn't have that much Foley so it really doesn't change my original quote.  I'm having my doubts about this project since I don't have a company email and he stated that this was a labor of love for over 2 years. I get trying to get work for free when you re starting out but maybe next time plan out a budget and time frame before you start your film.

Besides film, I've been really good at sticking with my 30 day challenges.  I'm already feeling super strong in my arms, I can feel the muscles and see a little bit of them.  My abs are getting stronge which is helping my back so much.  The thighs feel stronger but can't see much of a diffrence.  I know I need to really up my cardio to see one of the results.  So far I'm proud of myself and can't wait to show you little bots my progress.

Well this is longer than what I thought it would be.  This week I will be at my moms to get some much needed supplies for my Poison Ivy Cosplay.  See you bots in a week!

Bitch'n Friday: Workout Challenge Update

I'm alive little bots! I survived my outing up to crazy Capitol Hill and back in one piece.  So I said I would write a post for you today so here it is.

I'm half way threw my 30 day squat, abs, arms, and thighs challenge and I'm feeling a difference already.  I'm not seeing any physical changes but I probably need to up my cardio to see any change really.

In my arm's my biceps a feeling bigger and lifting things isn't as shaky.  The butt and thigh areas have not slimmed down but the mussels have gotten bigger in the inner thigh area, so if I'm to have large thighs why not be muscular instead of the fatty hams that they are.  Should start going a bit lower in the squats to really maximize the glutes area.  Now the abs no physical appearance, that nice fat layer of warmth is blocking the view.  However I'm feeling a lot stronger in my core area and it seems to be helping with my back. Now my back still hurts but I'm finding more mobility and less pain than before.

I don't have any good before picture but I will take a picture this weekend to at least to a comparison between half way threw the challenge and after.  Are you still keeping up with your New Year resolutions or have they fallen off your radar.  If you have and tips/trick to share with me leave them in the comments below.

More Death and Body Talk

Good Monday little bots. Hope last week was better than mine, I'm all ready sick of the new year. I just want to hit the reset button and start over. If you follow me on twitter you already know why if you don’t well I'm going to explain to you now.

As many of you know who read my blog last month one of my mom's horses (Annie) had to be put down. This cause a lot of stressed on our last remaining horse, Sackett, who was already having heart issues and feeding problems. For the past several weeks since Annie's passing Sackett had been moping around, barreling eating, and losing a lot of weight. With a these thing he became weaker and weaker until my mom had to come to a very difficult decision to put him down. We discussed it on Tuesday and planed for the next day for him to be “put to pasture”. However it had to be push back to Thursday due to the vet not having the medicine to knock him out before you euthanize until late that afternoon. So my mom decided to push it back to Thursday so she can have a proper hole to put him in. So sadly the very last childhood pet is gone, I miss him dearly. He was hands down the best riding horse any rider could ask for. Love you Sackett, you are missed.

In between balling my eyes out and thinking about my horse, I was working on the audio clean up for the documentary I received last Friday. It's going well the only major issue i'm finding is the consent boom pole handling. It's like the audio tech could not stop moving his or her hands up and down the pole. I've cleaned up as much as I could with out messing up the dialogue but it's still faintly there and its bugging me.

I've also been very diligent on my 30 day work out challenges. I feel a bit stronger and i've noticed a slight difference in my arms, my thighs still look like shit so I might have to repeat that challenge.
Along the same note, I ordered a body suite from amazon to use for my Poison Ivy costume that I'm making for Emerald City Comic Con. The Suite came in later that week but it didn't even come up to my breasts. This suite featured off to the left side is supper small if you have a long torso. The cup size was right one the bikini bottom became a thong and the front half gave me a massive camel toe, so ordering a “larger size” (they only go by bra/cup size) would be pointless if I had to do some major stuffing that would not work at all for my costume. Needless to say it was returned the very next day and I already got my money back from amazon.

This week I'm still working on the clean up audio and I have a Women In Film event this tuesday up in Capitol Hill. I hate going up to Capitol Hill at night, so many weird people and that uneasy feeling like you are going to be mugged. So see you friday if I am still alive then.

Top 5 Picks For January 9th

Happy Friday little bots.  I couldn't think of anything to write about today, my mind has been a little frazzled over the past couple of weeks dealing with my horses and having to put them down.  So I just want to do something quick and light for this weeks Friday post.  So why not do a top 5 things I'm obsessed with for this week.

Jem and the Holograms Comic:
I grew up on Jem.  My sister had all the dolls, the sound track, and taped all the episodes.  Naturally I found myself loving it as well.  When I heard that there is going to be a new comic about Jem threw my monthly previews catalog from my comic shop I filliped out.  I'm going in this weekend to add it to my stack of comic that I pick up each week.
Check out IDW for more info.
CES 2015
It's that time of year where technology meet convention and shows us where we all are going to throw our hard earned money at this year.  Consumer Electronic Show was this past week in Las Vegas and as usual it did not disappoint.   What I was most excited about was the 3D printing pen.  To me I can see a lot of uses for this device in costuming and making random stuff for gifts.  You can read more about the pen at 3D Former  and more info and product from CES click here

DC New Power Girl Design To Appear The New Teen Titians
I really dig the new look they are putting on Tanya Spears.  Her new look will debut in the upcoming Teen Titans coming this February.
Check out more info here: Hit Fix

Man Vs Pin
On the ThreadBanger channel they have a segment called Man vs. Pin where this guy takes pinterest pins and tries to replicate the pin.  This series has been going on since last year but I just recently discovered it so it is new to me.  Check out the posted YouTube video and to see more head over to ThreadBanger's YouTube page.

Real Life Peter Griffin
Just watch the video and be amazed.

So that's it, I'll see you all on Monday.

New Year And Some Work

Welcome to a new year little bots, hope you all are sobering up and getting back into the swing of things after the holiday madness. If you have read Friday's blog you would know that I had posted my New Year resolutions, well more like taking a few 30 day workout challenges and not have to worry about completing anything else for the rest of the year. Just about every day I've been posting my progress and thoughts on these challenges and all I can say is that I like rest days.

For New Year's eve our friend and the infamous girl friend of horrors was to join us in watching the fireworks show at the needle. They were suppose to come over at 8pm after dinner with some other friends, but after 2 and a half hours and nota single phone call it appeared they were not coming over. To my surprise my man also seemed to happy about this which I can not blame him since he had work the next day. So we enjoyed some homemade stuffed meat balls and chicken and planed to go to bed right after the fireworks.

All that was foiled by a phone call 20 minutes before 11pm from the friend stating they found parking and will be at our apartment in a few minutes. This pissed me off, if you are going to be late have the curtsy of calling and letting us know. And when they did arrive the girl was drunk and high as a kite, and pretty much couldn’t walk on her own. She slept on our couch until we all left for the firework. After the show my man and I both hoped they would leave after 30 minutes once the traffic was better but as usual they stayed until 2am. She slept on the couch while he chatted away.

I found out a few days later that when asking my man why he invited his friend over for New Years, he said that he didn't. His friend asked if he and his girl could stop by since they were going to be down in the area. Lesson learned for my man, if you have work early the next day don’t let people stop by and stay late. Next New Years no one is coming over.

After a few days of trying to get my sleep schedule back, I meet up with my director buddy to pick up some files and money so I can start work of her project. These files I was only asked to do a light clean up and to be done around March. So much time and she always gives me extra leeway to work. Love this lady!

So far so good with this new year, fingers crossed I find more work and a great part time job. See you bots Friday for another blog rant or something.

Bitch'n Friday: 30 Day Challenges

Haven't done a bitch'n Friday blog in a while, this year I'm defiantly going to be more diligent on my posting this year. I will probably fail at this again this year like I did last year. Speaking of failing at New Year resolutions this year I thought this year I would do some 30 day challenges. So instead of putting them off and never doing them I've lumped them all into one month and jus get it done and over with. Yesterday I mentioned this on my twitter and will probably be posting my progression there if you want to know how i'm doing go there. So here are the 4 challenges that I've picked to do this year/month.

30 Day Arms:

30 Day Abs:

30 Day Thighs:

20 Day Squats:

In addition to these i'm also trying to remember to do more walking/jogging to help shed off the blubber that has formed around my body keeping me supper warm. With any luck I can get some fat disappeared by the time ECCC comes around. Let me know if you little bots have any New Year resolutions or any tips you may have for me. See you Monday!
